FIMMA Constructions were approached by the Owners Corporation Committee (OCC) at 320 St Kilda Road, after their determination that refurbishment and upgrade works were required in two critical areas of the property, in order to supply residents with upgraded, modern safe facilities. The areas included the buildings St Kilda Road facade and main lobby.

The full scope of works, in brief, involved three separate potential project packages of varying complexity and scope, however FIMMA was ultimately contracted to complete a combined project brief of two work packages.

Package one focused on completing facade restoration activities, inclusive of removal of ACP cladding and replacement with new Equitone cladding, upgrade and replacement of horizonal and vertical glass panels, installation of associated new flashings and cappings, and completion of painting.

Package two required our team to deliver a major overhaul of the existing lobby space and main entry, including new high end materials and finishes and upgrades to some services.

All work was successfully completed while maintaining safe access for both building residents and ground level commercial tenant.
