Having previously delivered a similar development in Melbourne’s east, FIMMA successfully secured the opportunity to construct this new facility in Melbourne's west in December 2020.

The scope of works required demolition of an existing dwelling; bulk excavation and banking of the site; installation of extensive new inground services; careful placement of tree protection fencing and site silt protection measures; then construction of the new facility comprising an Administration building, multiple single storey units clad in cement sheet, an outdoor play area, car park with disabled access and associated landscape works.

The Administration building provides an inviting foyer and waiting area, meeting room, intake room, managers office, support staff area for up to 6 team members, DDA compliant amenities, multipurpose room, staff tearoom and access to private staff sleep quarters and amenities.

The Community Care Units feature natural tones and materials to provide a welcoming, relaxed, homelike atmosphere for all visitors. Units comprise either one, two or three bedrooms, with each providing well appointed kitchen, meals and lounge area, bathroom, laundry facilities and small private terrace.

Our FIMMA project team completed all works in May 2022.
