FIMMA Constuctions was invited to tender for these new Community Care Units in January 2020. The scope of works included demolition of an existing double storey brick dwelling and garage and construction of the new facility comprising a main Administration building, six single storey brick veneer residential units, outdoor play area, car parking and associated civil and landscaping works.

Designed by Clarke Hopkins Clarke Architects, the Administration building includes an inviting foyer and waiting area, meeting room, two interview rooms, main office area for up to ten staff, DDA compliant amenities, multi-purpose room and staff tea room with access to a private exterior deck area for respite.

The six Community Care Units are designed with natural tones and materials to provide a welcoming, relaxed and homelike atmosphere for the end user. Units comprise either one, two or three bedrooms, with each providing residents with kitchen, meals and lounge area, bathroom and laundry facilities and small private garden.
