This project consisted of a new 2 story community sports building built on a sloping site at Aberfeldie Park in Aberfeldie, north west of Melbourne. The building makes use of the existing natural features of the area and is used by several community sporting clubs including The Maribyrnong Ladies Cricket Club.

The ground floor of the building houses change rooms, amenities and storage facilities. Whilst the first floor contains a sizeable indoor function space, expansive covered deck, commercial kitchen, amenities, offices, umpires changing rooms and a lift servicing both floors of the building.

The building is constructed on a ground floor concrete slab, with the first floor suspended concrete slab supported by core-filled blockwork and structural steel. The external walls consist of core-filled blockwork and timber framing cladded in a material combination of weathertex and colorbond.
